With great responsibility comes great opportunity!

I've had this skirt in my closet for like ever and I've been dying to wear it,  little did I know it would come to good use. Well, I had the opportunity of wearing it to one of the events hosted by my internship. While being one of the hostess and pretty much doing everything and kept busy during the events, I still had the prospect of snagging some job interviews along the way and I'm super excited for that and can't wait to see what comes out of it.

Epiphany!

Omg! so last week I went to Nigeria embassy in DC to get my new E passport , and let me tell I was not impressed at all. I felt like I was in Nigeria like what the hell. The representatives were so unorganized, brass, tactless, rude and bitchy. I expect people that works at a place like embassy to be professional you know, but boy did i had a rude awakening!  Everything was hand written on a piece of junk notebook paper. like what year are we? can you put my information on a computer please?  I told my sister pinch me please cuz this can't be happening right now. Not only that, I felt like the other people that was there made things worse, they were cutting lines and did not have the right document or an appointment, wasting peoples` time. I was like seriously! These are the kind of stuff that gives Nigerians a bad name. Would you go to the doctor's office without an appointment ? No I don't think so. But yea we need to step up and try to represent Naija in a good light. This is what I wore.

The party girl..

So I finally took a little break from school and everything else, my day usually starts like 8 in the morning and I don't get back in the house till late at night by then I'm just really tired and off to bed ..so I was really happy when I got a little breather to hang out with the girls. the girls and I went to a birthday party of a mutual friend and it was a blast!..I decided to go as fashionable chic as opposed to the usual sexy sexy.

Scrambled Thought!

Here are some of the vintage findings, I wore this look to school few days ago. I'm like really in love with this red blazer because it gave this outfit a bold and bright look. Love love the speckled metallic oxford Shoes they're like my favorite shoes right now I've been wearing them all week. They're super comfy and creates a kind of masculine but yet feminine look.
